Gentlemen,

President’s Day is just a few sleeps away! THIS SATURDAY, November 8, we begin gathering at Leaside Pub for 9 am to catch England vs. New Zealand, and other international rugby games to follow. The pub will be packed, so come early, (Don’t forget about the $20 cover). In the afternoon we depart to a local Toronto rugby pitch for our annual President’s Trophy match. Please bring your RED & BLACK BUCS TRAINING JERSEY for the game, and make sure you have a silly hat to wear during the game!

After the President’s Day game, we will return to Leaside to hand out ‘Awards of Distinction’ to deserving club members who’ve likely committed some atrocity or another during our fine season.

JACOB BLACK, JOEY NEGLIA, ANDREW GOURLEY, and CARLOS FESER, please ensure you’re in dress shirt and sporting your Bucs tie as you will each be presented with your Bucs Awards Banquet mugs!

If you’re a previous Buccaneers award winner, this is a great day to bring out your old trophy mug to drink from at Leaside and show off your well earned silver ware to your mates. (Lost mugs will be sold off to the highest bidder at the beginning of next season…!)

Lastly, I want to thank everyone who voted, got someone else to vote, and voted often, for the Buccaneers Game On Toronto video contest entry. Voting closed November 5. With the unbelievable support we’ve had from all our club members we have a great chance of being a top finalist out of the many video entries vying for Toronto grant money!
