Thank you to all those who came out Saturday to support our rugby club and enjoy our 40th Anniversary celebration!  The weather couldn’t dampen the Bucs rugby spirit Saturday and all three men’s rugby matches were fantastic.  It was an honour to see all the Bucs alumni, friends and family braving the wild weather to be there!

It was a clean sweep against the Saracens Saturday, with Bucs 2 winning 23-12, and Bucs 1 winning a thriller 16-15.  The Bucs Academy had a cracker of a match losing a close contest to the Nomads 24-21.

Rugby Ontario recognized our 40th year with a plaque for the club, which now adorns the wall at the Leaside Pub.  Thanks to uncle Param for being a great host Saturday night.  And special thanks to referee Robert Burns for ensuring the rugby matches proceeded as scheduled despite the weather.
