4th ANNUAL PINK LADIES DAY JULY 28th
The Buccaneers will once again be partnering with Rethink Breast Cancer in holding our now annual “Pink Ladies Day” fundraiser on Saturday July 28th.
For those of you who are new the club, on Pink Ladies Day we wear a pink sock during our games and ask that everyone wear pink that day to symbolize the fight about breast cancer. We then retire to the Fox where we have raffles and other fundraisers. This is generally one of the biggest days of the year and one where Buccaneers are encouraged to bring wives, girlfriends, family, etc… to help support the cause.
We have 2 games that day against the Beach 4s and Georgian Bay, starting at 3pm and these games will be at Sunnybrook. Both teams will be invited to support the day by coming back to the Fox. We will also be inviting the YeoLions to join us, though we have to confirm if they have games at Sunnybrook that day.
So, save the date, and stay tuned for more details but please do your best to come out that day and wear some pink! We’ve managed to raise almost $5000 for the cause over the past few years, with each year being more successful than the last, and we’re very much looking forward to keeping the tradition going!
