The Buccaneers RFC is proud to announce John 'Dean' Spencer has been selected as vice captain for the upcoming 2009 season.  Dean joined the club last season and made an immediate impression on the team. At no. 2 he was an outstanding rugger for the Buccs and stepped up to the role of full time hooker, also taking home the Davis Kelo Rookie of the Year award. Although 2008 was Dean's first year with the Buccs, he had plenty of rugby experience having previously played for the Toronto Lions RFC Senior Men's squad.
