With high anticipation the Buccaneers annual President’s Day and Awards was held on October 22 this year. A day that is held high in the hearts of all Buccaneers, old and new, with many likening (nay, some even trumping) the event to Christmas.

A spirited game of rugby was played with the President’s team beating the Captain’s team by a lot to a little. (special mention goes to all star President’s team fullback Sean Webb, and our slightly inexperienced referee McLovin). We then retired to the Fox where our 2011 club awards were given out and a few quiet beverages were enjoyed by all.

MVP – Colin ‘Brian’s Slave’ Alexander (continuing in the Buccs tradition of awarding the club MVP to a player not in attendance at the awards ceremony)
