Gentlemen,

The season is almost upon us, officially beginning May 14th, and in preparation for this the Buccs will be participating in two preseason events to help get us some game time preparation.

The first event will be a tournament in Oshawa hosted by the Oshawa Vikings on Saturday April 28th. Time is to be confirmed, but we will most likely need to be there by 9am. We are guaranteed three games so everyone will get more than enough chance to get some game time. Location is at the Vikings pitch located at 110 Raglan Rd. West just north of Oshawa.

Our second preseason fixture will be against the Saracens, at the Oakville Crusaders pitch on May 5th. Kickoff is at 3pm, all players are to be at the field and ready to warm up at 2pm. The location will be one of the Crusaders pitches, located on the ninth line just north of the QEW.

From East (via QEW): Take QEW West and exit at Ford Drive. Turn right and head north. Continue through the set of lights (Upper Middle Rd) where Ford Drive turns into 9th Line. The club is on the left side as you crest the hill. Look for the sign and the south field.

From East (via 401): Take 401 West to 403 Hamilton. Continue along 403 to Upper Middle Road exit. Turn right onto Upper Middle Rd, then take first right at lights (9th Line). Continue north and the club is on the left side as you crest the hill. Look for the sign and the south field.

From West (via 401): Take 401 East to Trafalgar Rd exit. Head south on Trafalgar to Dundas St (Hwy 5). Turn left (east) until you reach 9th Line. Turn right (south) on 9th Line and the club is on your right after passing the drive-in theatre.

From West (via QEW): Take QEW East to Ford Drive exit. Turn left (north) on Ford Drive. Continue through the set of lights (Upper Middle Rd) where Ford Drive turns into 9th Line. The club is on the left side as you crest the hill. Look for the sign and the south field.

A reminder that April 3rd will mark our last evening of indoor training at Stephen Leacock Community Centre. Stay tuned for more details as to training venues after this.

Lets all make as much effort as possible to get out to training, and play hard in the preseason to give us the best chance possible of being successful in our 2012 campaign.
