BUCCANEERS MARCH IN TORONTO ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
The Toronto Buccaneers RFC were proud participants in the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 15. Bucs senior men’s players and junior team players marched for the purpose of recruiting new players as well as raising the club’s profile in the GTA. The Bucs handed out over 5000 Bucs sticker with club info, as well as over 2000 flyers with info on the Toronto Rugby Union. Over 200,000 people lined the streets to watch the parade, as well as it being a televised event. The Toronto St. Patrick’s Day parade is the largest in Canada and 4th largest in the world.
The Bucs would like to thank all club members and their friends and family who marched, as well as the special efforts of Bucs recruitment director Dan Breault, and Bucs veteran Simon Cooper who secured our entry in this amazing event.
