Buccaneers,

Thanks to Mr. Simon Cooper, we have been permitted to enter the Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade for 2016. It’s one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the world, and gave our club a ton of exposure last year. Our club will be walking the parade route on March 13th, 2016. Team jerseys will be brought for everyone to wear during the parade route.

The parade starts at noon at St George and Bloor. The Parade line up assembles down St George in designated area’s. Please meet at the intersection of ST GEORGE AND HOSKIN AVENUE BY 11:00 AM.

We’ll be handing out Bucs flyers and Bucs stickers to the crowd. There’ll be a few lads expected to carry the Bucs banner which is provided by the parade. We had a great turn out last year and it was a blast.

We will bring our Bucs flag as well, and please remember, whoever is carrying our Buccaneers flag please be aware of the protocol when passing the review stand. All flags, with the exception of the Canadian flag, must be dipped slightly when passing the review stand.

It was a bit chilly last year. I suggest wearing a hoodie which you can slide a Bucs jersey over it. If you already have a Bucs jersey to wear, great.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be NO indoor practice March 13 at the Soccerplex. Instead it has been rescheduled for March 20, same time (1 – 3 pm).
