The Toronto Buccaneers RFC commemorate their 40th anniversary in 2016. The Bucs originate from the merger of the former Toronto Pirates RFC and the Toronto Police RFC in 1976 to form the Buccaneers (hence the ‘skull & billyclubs’ club emblem). The Bucs will be hosting a ‘Buccaneers Day’ during the season to honour our anniversary, whereby we will be arranging all Bucs rugby teams playing on our home pitch at Sunnybrook park on the same day.

Touring is a proud tradition with the Bucs, and we have planned a fantastic tour to Chicago, Illinois, to celebrate the club’s 40th anniversary. The tour is planned around the New Zealand All Blacks taking on Ireland at Soldier Field on November 5th, 2016. The club will be arrange charter bus from Toronto, leaving the evening of Thursday November 3rd and returning Monday, November 7th. Tour will include a charter bus, hotel accommodations, a rugby match against a Chicago based club, tour golf shirt & anniversary rugby kit, and ticket to the international match.
