BUCCANEERS ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Buccaneers,

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday January 9th, 2016. This is an excellent opportunity to have your voice be heard regarding club matters, and even step up and become a part of the Executive team. There will be reports from all current standing Executives detailing the past year, followed by appointments of vacant positions and/or a vote by all in attendance should more than one person wish to run for a position.

The AGM will be held at a board room courteously secured by our Treasurer Peter. The location is 330 University Avenue, ground floor, make a right when you enter the doors and down the hall. The boardroom is booked from 2 – 5pm and we will begin promptly at 2pm.

Any member of the Buccaneers RFC in good standing is eligible to attend the AGM, and are also eligible to run for any available position.

The positions NOT currently available this year are:

President Brian C. (2nd of 2 year position) – not vacant
VP Treasurer Peter R. (2nd of 2 year position) – not vacant
VP Juniors James P. (2nd of 2 year position) – not vacant but assistance is always needed
VP Director of Mens’ Rugby Chris B. (2nd of 2 year position) – not vacant

While the available positions with their incumbents or vacancies are:

Club Secretary – VACANT POSITION
Director of Social Events – VACANT POSITION
Director of Recruitment – VACANT POSITION
Director Communications – Jay – Standing – but position eligible for others to run
Director of Fixtures – Dean – Standing – but position eligible for others to run
