The Buccaneers RFC have entered a team into the Canlan Ice Sports ASHL men's hockey league for the 2009 – 2010 season.  This is the second year in a row the Bucs have entered a squad into the ASHL.  Bucs executive Tim Morton is the mastermind assembling those ruggers who play hockey into a formal club team, and deserves a lot of credit for getting it off the ground in their inaugural 2008 – 2009 season.  The Buccaneers hockey team are proud to be sponsored by the Fox & Fiddle Pub, 190 Laird Avenue, who supplied new jerseys.  The Buccaneers' first game is Thursday, September 24 at 6:15 pm.  Go Bucs Go!
