Rugby Tour – Rochester NY
April 28 to April 30, 2023

• Following the roaring success of our 2022 tour to Montreal, we are going on the road again! This April, we will be traveling to Rochester in beautiful upstate New York, to play against the Rochester Aardvarks (what is an aardvark???)
• The tour is scheduled for Friday April 28th to Sunday April 30th
• Please book off the work day on Friday April 28th as we will leave at 9:00AM from the Leaside Pub
• Anyone who registered last season has insurance coverage for this tour as 2022 insurance coverage ends on April 30, 2023
• If you did not register with Rugby Ontario/Canada last season, or are a new player, you need to register for a 72-hour membership through Sportlomo for $36.59 or you cannot play on tour!! Please reach out if you need help registering

Pricing

The pricing for the entire tour is as follows:

$470 CAD per person (for 2 person hotel room)

$340 CAD per person (for 4 person hotel room, sharing beds)

• Please send a deposit of $150 to treasurer@buccaneersrugby.com to secure a spot. Full amount to be paid by April 15 2023
• This cost includes the bus, 2 nights at the hotel and tour golf shirt
• Along with your deposit, please email treasurer@buccaneersrugby.com and coops0406@gmail.com with the your tour polo shirt size and whether you paying for a 2 person or 4 person hotel room
• If cost is an issue (especially if you are a student), PLEASE contact Dean, Simon, or anyone else on the Exec Team. We will figure out a payment plan. TOUR IS FOR EVERYONE!

Cross the border
Arrive in Rochester in early afternoon

Saturday April 29th 2023

Play rugby match against Rochester at 2:00 PM
Social afterwards hosted by the Aardvarks

Sunday April 30th 2023

Leave Rochester in the morning
Cross the border
Arriving at The Leaside Pub in the afternoon/evening
