Our last game of the summer is this Saturday, away, to the Etobicoke Invictus. They are a new club, with 2012 the first year they are running a men’s side. If you haven’t already advised of your availability via Teamer, please do so ASAP. Or contact Colsey directly at captain@buccaneersrugby.com to let him know.

The game is at 12:00pm, with all players asked to be there dressed and ready for 11:00am.

The game is at the Etobicoke School of The Arts, at 675 Royal York Road. There is parking, or it can also be reached by the 76 or 15 bus from Royal York subway station.

As noted, since this is our last game of the summer, we are running a pub crawl from the Fox on Saturday night. There is no cost to this event, as we will be walking. The only thing we ask is that you wear your Buccaneers golf shirt. We’re asking everyone to be there for 6pm.

In addition, we are pleased to announce the dates for our fall social events. The Buccaneers RFC prides itself on its social side, and we continue to run events through the off season to keep everyone in contact and to have a good time. For planning purposes the events and dates are listed below. Please keep an eye out as emails regarding the specific events will come closer to the date.

Awards/Alumni Dinner – Sept. 29

This year we have combined the Hall of Fame Dinner with our yearly awards presentation for the selected players of the season. This one is not to be missed!

Halloween Party – Oct. 27
Our annual dress up and drink at the Fox and Fiddle Leaside

President’s Day – Nov. 17
The closing ceremony on our season, and much akin to Christmas for some. A full day of rugby, staring at the Fox for some fall tour action, followed by the inter-squad match featuring the Captains’ XV versus the Presidents’ XV. Festivities to continue afterwards back at the Fox. Another in the social calendar that is not to be missed!

Christmas Pub Crawl – Dec. 15
Our annual TTC Pub Crawl. Get to know our public transportation and city while enjoying beverages with your team mates. What could be better?
