BUCCS TREASURER POSITION

It is with mixed emotions that we have to announce that Adam Macmillan has had to step down from his position as Club Treasurer due to increased professional commitments. Mixed because while we will miss the professionalism and energy he brought to the position, we wish him luck in his career – plus we still hope to see him around the pitch this summer!

As a result, the club is looking for anyone who might be interested in becoming the new Treasurer. This position is open to both regular and alumni members. If you are interested in standing for the position, you should forward your name, including a nominator and a seconder, to my attention at BuccsRugby@gmail.com by Sunday, March 27th. Should there be more than one candidate; a vote will be taken by the current Executive at our meeting on March 29th. Candidates will be invited to attend to present their candidacy.

For your information, the position of Treasurer includes maintaining the club bank account, presenting and presiding over a yearly budget, tracking all expenditures as well as being the legal official agent for the club. Should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

In the interim, Club President James Phillips has agreed to act in the position.
