SATURDAY MAY 14, BUCCANEERS vs. CINCINNATI, OHIO TOUR TEAM

This Saturday, May 14 we will be hosting the Queen City RFC touring side from Cincinnati, Ohio.  The Bucs toured with them last year and are honoured to host them here in Canada.  This will be the first of THREE EVENTS celebrating the Buccaneers’ 40th anniversary (followed by Buccaneers Day August 13th @ Sunnybrook, and Chicago Tour November 4-7).

The Bucs first XV will be taking on the Cincinnati squad at Birchmount Stadium, 2 pm kick-off, 1827 Kingston Rd., Toronto.  

After the match the Bucs will be hosting the tourists at the Leaside Pub with a buffet dinner (BBQ chicken, pork, chilli, rice & curry potatoes).  Available to Bucs as well for $12.

The Bucs have a proud tradition of being great hosts for touring teams.The Ohio team has 30 tourists in their party, and we hope to see twice as many Buccaneers, friends & family, out to support the game and at the pub after!

TUESDAY MAY 17 – PRACTICE MOVES TO SUNNYBROOK PARK

Gents, Tuesday, May 17 practice moves for the season to our home pitch at Sunnybrook Park (corner of Leslie & Elginton).  Practice is still Tuesdays & Thursdays, and with added daylight practice time runs from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

THURSDAY MAY 19 – BUCS ACADEMY vs. BUCS RED/BLACK

Instead of practice, there will be Bucs Academy vs. Bucs Red/Black game @ Sunnybrook Park.  6:30 pm warm-up.  7 pm kick-off.  Watch for Teamer invite to note your availability!
