Buccaneers –

We’re pleased to announce the full details of our upcoming tour to Chicago in celebration of our club’s 40th anniversary!

Tour is Friday November 4th to Monday November 7th, 2016.

A charter bus will be leaving the Leaside Pub at 11 pm on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 for Chicago.  The bus will depart Chicago for Toronto at 12 pm on November 7th.

We have accommodations booked at the Grant Park Hotel – Best Western, (1100 S Michigan Ave., Chicago).  We have 20 rooms reserved, each with 2 double beds.  2 tourists per room.

Tour Swag: 

Tour jersey (the classic long sleeve 100% cotton Barbarian jersey, with collar), tour polo, tour t-shirt and rugby socks.  See the attached ‘Bucs throw-back logo’ for tour kit!  Kit sponsors wanted!

Events:

Evening of Friday November 4th – USA Eagles vs. NZ Maori @ Toyota Park.  Charter bus will drive us from hotel and stadium.  40 tickets have been secured.

Evening of Saturday November 5th – Ireland vs. NZ All Blacks @ Soldier Field.

Charter bus will drive us from hotel and stadium.  40 tickets have been secured.

Late afternoon Sunday November 6th – Bucs vs. Lincoln Park RFC.  Unlimited and rolling subs.  All registered tourists welcome to play!  Post match festivities hosted by Lincoln Park RFC.

Tour Costs (Canadian dollars):

Estimate $600 per person.

Bus Charter $4,300

International Tickets $5,600

Swag $4,400

Hotel $14,700

Total: $29,000 / 40 tourists = $715 each tourist.

We are hoping to raise a minimum of $4600 in fundraising/sponsorship which would reduce the cost to $600 per tourist.  Our club has already raised $1715 towards our goal for tour thanks to poker & fantasy football.

Price per tourist is set, whether flying, or taking bus.
