PINK LADIES DAY CHARITY FUNDRAISER. Help the Bucs raise money for breast cancer research. All are welcome, families encouraged.

Our biggest event of the year!  We have 3 games scheduled for that day, so we need all hands on deck for this one.  We have an Academy side match against Muddy York at 12:00pm, a Seconds game at 1:30pm, and our Firsts follow at 3:00pm against the Dragons.

This year we are also happy to report the Minis will be putting on an exhibition between the Academy and 2nd team games.  This program is a huge thing for our club and Richie and the other coaches will be running the kids through their paces for everyone to see.  In addition, we will have a face painting for the kids this year!  So please bring out your families to join us.

As per usual we will have drinks and snacks for sale over the course of the day – so no need to bring your own.

We will be going back to the Leaside Pub where we will be having a raffle and social.  Prizes include Rugby Canada gear signed by Hall of Famer Al Charron, a signed Mitch Marner framed poster/photo (thanks Coops!), a Sauce gift pack, a graphic novel prize pack, and the every popular LCBO booze baskets.  If you have any raffle items you would like to donate, please let me (president@buccaneersrugby.com) or Gideon (social@buccaneersrugby.com) know directly and we can make arrangements to get them from you.

As always the majority of funds raised will be going Rethink Breast Cancer, though a portion will be going to a new cause this year.  We are happy to report that this year we will also be working with RugbyVsCancer!  They will providing special jerseys for us to wear as well as special match balls to be used.

As per previous years we will be providing pink socks for players to wear for which we ask everyone to pay a $5 sock “rental” fee.  So please remember to bring some cash for the socks and for raffle tickets back the pub.
