After a few years hiatus, the Toronto Buccaneers Rugby Club is pleased to announced that Pink Ladies Day (PLD) 2023 will be back on Saturday July 22, 2023!

PLD has been a long lasting annual Buccaneers tradition, raising money and awareness for breast cancer. On PLD, every single Buccaneer plays in pink socks, as oppose to the traditional blue and white stripes, during their games to show support. The club will also be selling snacks, drinks as well as limited edition tshirts to raise funds! Please reach out to me, Richie or any other Exec Committee if you would like to volunteer or like to donate a raffle prize.

After a long day on the pitch, we will retire to our sponsor pub, The Leaside Pub, where we’ll be hosting a raffle giveaway with awesome prizes and a pub social, open invite to all!

We have a jam packed day with three games scheduled at our home field Sunnybrook Park:

Toronto Buccaneers 2XV kickoff @ 2:00pm vs Bay Street Pigs 2XV
Toronto Buccaneers 1XV kickoff @ 3:30pm vs Bay Street Pigs 1XV

For all players, please bring $10 in CASH for the pink socks and as a donation for PLD.

All proceeds from PLD will be donated to our longtime partner, Rethink Breast Cancer, in support of those affected and living with breast cancer.
