The Toronto Rugby Union has announced the playoff format for the 2015 season. Should our first team win in Etobicoke next Saturday, we will win the TRU B West Division championship. The Belleville Bulldogs have won the East Division championship already due to points total.

The winners of the West & East divisions in the TRU B division will be placed in the TRU A playoffs for the Toronto Rugby Summer Cup/Plate championship. Our first playoff game would be against a top seeded team from the TRU A (likely the TRU A division winner) on August 15th.

Whether you win or lose on August 15th, there will be another playoff game August 22 @ Fletcher’s Fields. If you win on August 22, you will be playing for the TRU A Cup or Plate Finals on August 29.

Our second team is currently in a very respectable 4th place in the TRU Central Division (out of 17 teams). Our second team will be playing in the Toronto Rugby Summer Bowl championship, and will be playing against teams from TRU B division, TRU A2 division, and the Central Division. Playoff games will be held on August 15th and August 22, with finals on August 29. Clubs are still confirming their participation in this Bowl Championship, so teams are to be announced.

Don’t forget our last regular season games are August 8th. Our first team plays against the Invictus RFC in Etobicoke at 3 pm, and our second team plays against the Crusaders RFC 4th team in Oakville at 12 pm.
