The Toronto Rugby Union has announced the two divisions of the TRU ‘B’ men’s league for 2015:

EAST: Toronto Buccaneers, North Halton Highlanders, Etobicoke Invictus, and Toronto Dragons
WEST: Brock RFC, Belleville Bulls, Cobourg Saxons, and Ajax Wanderers Academy

Each club will play 2 games against each opponent in their division, and one cross over game against each club from the other division, for 10 regular season games in total.

The Toronto Buccaneers will be entering two teams into the 2015 Men’s Leagues. The Bucs’ 1st team will be competing in the ‘B’ division, while the Bucs’ 2nd team will be competing in the ‘C’ division. C division opponents are TBA, but 10 regular season games will be scheduled. Both Bucs’ mens squads should expect PLAYOFFS and FINALS to be held at the end of the summer season during the weekends of August 15, 22 and 29.

The Toronto Buccaneers have a club goal finishing 1st or 2nd in the ‘B’ division to be eligible to compete for promotion into the TRU Premier Division for the 2016 season (our club’s 40th anniversary!). There are 8 strong rugby clubs for the Bucs to compete against, so be sure to get out to all our indoor training sessions!
