The club was saddened over the weekend with the news that former Player, President anHall of Fame inductee, Robbie “Peckerhead” Nicholls, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and close friends.

An active Buccaneers alumni, Robbie always represented and supported the club with his tremendous spirit and passion to the end.

Anyone who shared the experience of supporting the Buccs in his company on a Saturday or went on tour with Robbie was guaranteed a great time and many laughs, or a room full of hay if you came on tour to Cleveland!

Robbie continued to display and share his strength, humour and friendships to all members of the club despite his health challenges the last few years and we will miss that sharp wit, laugh and smile.

The club has lost one of their most favourite alumni and we will miss him immensely. Robbie would not want us to be sad too long so we should enjoy our memories we have of the great times spent with him; his infectious spirit will continue to live on within the club.
